About us
The Bünter family has owned the Eienwäldli for more than 50 years. Today, the operation is managed by Sepp Bünter and Trudy Herzog.
In the Post War years, we had the pleasure of welcoming our first holiday guests to Eienwäldli with their caravans and tents. This was also the starting point for our innovative business policy. At the end of the 1970s, the first indoor swimming pool was built in Engelberg, and shortly afterwards a beautiful sauna. On 1 June 1990, the Eienwäldli Sport Hotel with all its modern infrastructure was opened. In 1997 and 2001, our unique wellness complex with its rock pool, sauna facilities and fitness room went into operation. This year, the final expansion of the Wellness & Beauty Oasis has followed. You can now enjoy wellness of the highest standards in more than 1,000 m2 of floor space on three floors.
